Deputy President Kithure Kindiki on Tuesday visited the Huawei exhibition booth during the opening of the 15th Connected Africa Summit at The Edge Convention Centre in Nairobi.
He was received by Huawei Global Vice President Zhai Haipeng and the Huawei Kenya team.
During the tour, Kindiki was taken through some of the company’s latest technologies, including solutions aimed at improving connectivity, digital inclusion, digital power and solar energy.
The showcase focused on tools designed to support development across the continent, in line with this year’s summit theme on building an inclusive digital market in Africa.

The Deputy President also got a chance to see new fibre solutions that are easier to install and maintain, as well as the latest Wi-Fi 7 router built for faster internet speeds.
Huawei said the engagement reflects its continued efforts to support Africa’s digital growth through practical technology.
Kindiki was accompanied by ICT Cabinet Secretary William Kabogo.
