As Nairobi ushered in the new year, Ole-Sereni Hotels once again delivered a polished, large-scale New Year’s Eve experience that has become a signature on the city’s festive calendar.
Guests celebrated across both Ole-Sereni properties with carefully curated dining and entertainment offerings. Ole-Sereni Hotel hosted a New Year’s Eve buffet at Big Five Restaurant priced at KES 6,500 per person, while Emara Ole-Sereni offered a premium buffet at Acacaia Restaurant KES 7,500 per person, inclusive of complimentary access to the hotel’s rooftop fireworks show.

The highlight of the evening was the annual fireworks display hosted at Sky Lounge, located on the 10th floor of Emara Ole-Sereni. With a 270-degree view spanning Nairobi National Park and the city skyline, Sky Lounge provided guests with a rare vantage point to witness fireworks lighting up the city as far as the eye could see.
For Ole-Sereni Hotels, the fireworks show serves as the grand finale of the year, a tradition that continues to draw strong demand, early reservations, and repeat guests. In-house guests at Emara Ole-Sereni enjoyed complimentary access to the show, maintaining a long-standing brand practice that enhances guest value and loyalty.

Access tickets were priced at KES 3,000 per person, with an 18+ age limit, while the event featured live food stations, multiple bars, resident DJs, and a live saxophonist.
Recognized as one of Nairobi’s top rooftop venues by Rooftop Guide Magazine, Sky Lounge continues to position itself as a premium events destination, with the capacity to host up to 700 guests for celebrations, launches, weddings, and end-of-year functions.
As midnight passed and the city lit up, Ole-Sereni Hotels once again demonstrated how consistency, scale, and experience-driven offerings continue to strengthen its position in Nairobi’s competitive hospitality market.
