Chinese electronics manufacturer Airmars has officially launched its operations in Kenya, marking a major step in the Airmars Kenya expansion as the company selects Nairobi as its East African headquarters and entry point into the regional market.

Airmars Kenya Expansion Driven by Strong Tech Demand and Regional Opportunity

At the launch event, Airmars introduced a diverse lineup of next-generation devices, including power banks, fast chargers, earphones, smart watches, car accessories, audio gadgets, smart glasses, and fast-charging kits all infused with AI-enhanced technology.

The rollout signals a strong commitment to the Airmars Kenya expansion, with the company positioning itself to serve the region’s rapidly growing demand for smart and mobile accessories.

Airmars CEO and Founder Paul Wang said Kenya was the natural choice for the brand’s first African operations, citing the country’s strong digital ecosystem and its influence on continental tech innovation.

“Kenya is our first market in Africa, and we are proud to set up our African headquarters in Nairobi. This country will be our gateway to the wider region,” Wang said.

He emphasized that the Airmars Kenya expansion goes beyond product distribution, outlining the company’s plans to invest in the local economy through partnerships with distributors, retailers, service centers, and potential assembly units.

“We have heavily invested not only in technology but also in people. Our goal is to create meaningful job opportunities for the Kenyan community,” he added.

Airmars Sales Director Carter Yang described Kenya as one of Africa’s fastest-growing electronics markets, driven by a youthful, tech-forward population with a rising appetite for reliable, high-quality smart devices.

He assured consumers that all products launched under the Airmars Kenya expansion have undergone strict global safety and durability testing to align with both international and local standards.

“These devices are long-lasting, reliable, and fully approved by relevant authorities. The Kenyan market is ready for quality, and we are here to deliver exactly that,” Yang said.

Yang also praised the strong diplomatic and trade ties between Kenya and China, noting that they have created an ideal environment for international businesses to thrive. He added that Airmars will put in place a robust customer support network to strengthen trust and elevate the after-sales experience another key component of the Airmars Kenya expansion.
