The Jamhuri Festival was brought alive in spectacular form on Saturday night, turning Club Shalex in Voi into a vibrant expression of Kenyan culture, music, and identity. Organized in partnership with Kenya Cane – The True Kenyan Spirit, hundreds of partygoers came together to close out the season in true form with homegrown music, rich cultural expression, and unwavering national pride.

As soon as the gate was opened, the Jamhuri Festival was characterized by an atmosphere of excitement as it was one of those events bringing music lovers from different parts of the Coastal region together.

The Jamhuri Festival Highlights Local Kenyan Talent

The core of the Jamhuri Festival revolved around a genre that showcased the vibrant and dynamic world of Kenyan music. The performance stages included energetic and soulful acts by Coaster Ojwang, Tipsy Gee, Masauti, Dede, Kabuda, Mwashumbe, and Yollo, each with their own flavor that touched the fans on the dance floors.

To this electric atmosphere, DJ Most Wanted and DJ Shacky added their pulsating mixes that had people dancing till the wee hours of the morning. This smooth fusion of live performances and mixing on the decks captured the rhythm that defines the exciting world of entertainment in Kenya, and how the Jamhuri Festival is more than a concert it is a moment.

After the occurrence, Victor Adada, the brand manager at Kenya Cane, explained that the Jamhuri Festival captured the spirit of being a Kenyan.

“The Jamhuri Festival event was much more than a musical performance. In fact, it was a strong embodiment that represents what we as Kenyans are all about,” Adada continued.
