Coca-Cola has rolled out a new nationwide promotion that will see Kenyans walk away with cash and airtime, including a grand prize of KES 1 million every week.
The campaign, called Funua Flava Under the Crown, will run from August 15 to November 15 across the country. Shoppers can win daily and weekly prizes ranging from cash to airtime and data bundles.
Taking part is simple:
- Buy a 300ml glass bottle of Coca-Cola, Sprite, Fanta, Stoney, Krest, or Schweppes.
- Check under the yellow cap for a code.
- Send the code by SMS to 40111 for a chance to win instantly.
Juliana Kituma, Coca-Cola’s Director of Frontline Marketing for East and Central Africa, said the promotion is meant to create memorable moments for consumers.
“We want to give Kenyans real prizes in real time. Airtime will be loaded straight to phones, while cash will be sent to winners’ mobile wallets, making the process fast and easy,” she explained.
Her colleague, Alfred Mabu, CCBA Kenya’s Trade Marketing Director, added:
“This promotion is our way of saying thank you to Kenyans. Beyond refreshing with our drinks, we want to give back and add joy to everyday life.”
With the Coca-Cola Kenya promotion, buying a simple soda could mean topping up airtime, paying for essentials, or even becoming a millionaire.
