Colombian singer Shakira has once again got fans talking after teasing a new song believed to be linked to the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
The singer shared a short video filmed at Brazil’s famous Maracanã Stadium, revealing that she is working with Nigerian Afrobeats star Burna Boy on a track titled “Dai Dai.”
Shakira, whose 2010 World Cup song Waka Waka (This Time for Africa) became a global hit, posted the 67-second teaser on Instagram days after performing at the stadium during a free concert that attracted more than two million people.
The new song is expected to be released on May 14 ahead of the 2026 World Cup, which will be hosted by United States, Canada and Mexico.
Fans online have already started speculating that the track could become another major football anthem, especially with Burna Boy joining the project.
Shakira’s return to the World Cup scene also signals FIFA’s continued interest in using global music stars to build excitement around the tournament.
