The Kenya National Examinations Council (KNEC) has rolled out toll-free numbers for students, parents, and tutors to access the 2025 KCSE results following the technical hitch that had inhibited people from accessing their marks through the online platforms.
Toll-Free 2025 KCSE Results Support Channels Now Available
The results were launched by the Education Cabinet Secretary, Julius Ogamba, on Friday, January 9, 2025, at the AIC Chebisaas High School in Eldoret, Uasin Gishu County. This was followed by concerns raised by students having difficulties in opening the portal, which pushed the KNEC to roll out toll-free lines.
Toll free contact lines are 0800721410 and 0800724900, while the others are 0796975104, 0796974984, 0796975132, 0796974985, 0797147335, and 0797146835. According to KNEC, these contact lines will run all day long
In response to any queries concerning the results for 2025 KCSE, the Call Centre is available 24/7 on the telephone numbers posted by KNEC via the X account given above.
This is coming after the KNEM results platform went down around 11:30 am when the results were announced. A student is supposed to provide index number and one of the names as provided on registration to get access to 2025 KCSE results on results.knec.ac.ke
The provision of toll-free lines ensures that even in situations where there is a lot of traffic on the portal, students can access assistance at any time.
Similar disruptions have in the past occurred in previous years, thereby emphasizing the importance of additional support lines in situations where results are released nationally.
