This renewed partnership enables TECNO’s spirit of “Stop at Nothing” to be visible as it engages fans across Africa. It also builds on the brand’s successful sponsorship of the 2023 AFCON where TECNO served as the exclusive smartphone partner.

Benjamin Jiang, Vice President of Transsion Holdings, said:

“Renewed partnership proves the deep trust and shared success we have built with CAF. They saw the power of football to incite passion and the ability to dream in the previous collaboration. Through AI-powered smart technologies, we saw how these technologies could empower millions across Africa.”

This partnership is not just about the game. It symbolizes unyielding ambition with this partnership, a platform for young people to showcase talent, united by an undeniable force of forward motion.

This partnership shows promise of leveraging innovation to transform Africa’s tomorrow and brings hope in achieving our common dreams.

As part of this partnership, TECNO will continue its Dream on the Field Renovation Campaign, launched in 2024 with CAF.

The initiative aims to improve access to quality playing fields in underserved communities, encouraging youth engagement and development through football and technology.

CAF General Secretary Véron Mosengo-Omba noted: “TECNO’s longstanding support for football in Africa has had a meaningful impact on the development of the sport. The Africa Cup of Nations is the continent’s most prestigious football event, representing passion and the pursuit of dreams. Deepening this partnership will help us take AFCON 2025 and 2027 to new heights of excitement for fans across Africa.”

This collaboration is a major step for TECNO as it continues to grow its emotional connection with Africa’s youth.

With cutting-edge imaging technology, reliable performance, and sleek design, TECNO is building a future where innovation and football come together to inspire the next generation.
