The move has cemented TCL Electronics’ position in the Kenyan market with another major step in TCL home entertainment through the official launch of the new TCL C8K QD-Mini LED TV.

Already being celebrated globally for leading the world in Mini LED innovation, TCL unveiled the C8K in Nairobi on November 10, 2025, to set a new milestone in TCL home entertainment.

The C8K makes its debut several months after the rollout of the popular C7K Series, reinforcing TCL’s long-term commitment to driving premium technology and elevating the TCL home experience for households across Kenya.

Speaking at the event, Alvin Wang, TCL East Africa Director, said the new model reflects the brand’s commitment to innovation and customer-first design.

“The launch of the C8K in Kenya shows our mission to redefine home entertainment with products that blend style, power, and immersive viewing,” he said.

A New Benchmark in TCL Home Entertainment Technology

The new C8K starts a whole new chapter for TCL home entertainment by introducing the world’s first fourth-generation Zero Border QD-Mini LED design that offers an uninterrupted, borderless viewing experience.

Built on TCL’s Skywork architecture, this TV features up to 3,840 local dimming zones and a superior HDR brightness of 5,000 nits for amazing depth, contrast, and visual brilliance.

The color accuracy is increased by 40%, while reducing reflections and maintaining visuals crisp from any angle, thanks to its CrystGlow WHVA Panel.

Lying at the center of its performance is the TSR AiPQ Processor, which makes use of advanced AI optimization in producing realistic images. A 144Hz refresh rate ensures smooth motion, ideal for sports lovers and gamers.

Earlier C7K Series Still Shining in the Market

First introduced earlier this year, the C7K Series is still a top performer in TCL’s lineup of home entertainment in Kenya. With up to 2,880 local dimming zones, 3,000-nit HDR brightness, and TCL’s All-Domain Halo Control Technology, the model creates sharp and vibrant imagery.

The CrystGlow HVA Panel offers a wide 178-degree viewing angle and a 7000:1 native contrast ratio, all packed into a sleek body less than 60mm thick.

Premium Audio for a Full Cinematic Experience

Both the C8K and C7K boast state-of-the-art audio from Bang & Olufsen and ONKYO. Equipped with BeoSonicâ„¢ personalization, Golden Ear tuning, and high-end speakers, both deliver rich, immersive sound to match their advanced picture quality.

The TCL C8K and C7K QD-Mini LED TVs are already available in major retail stores across Kenya. These latest additions further raise the bar for TCL home entertainment; adding refined design to powerful hardware and cutting-edge tech to deliver a truly cinematic experience at home.
