Safaricom took another step in a direction to make high-speed internet an ordinary aspect of every home in Kenya as it formed an alliance with Naivas Supermarket.
Under the initiative, Safaricom 5G home internet devices will be available for sale in every Naivas store across Kenya, making speedy and secure internet accessible in the reach of every home.
This is part of Safaricom Silver Jubilee, marking 25 years of bringing Kenyans together and revolutionizing Kenya digitally. The partnership comes during a time when Naivas is marking 35 years in retail service and is therefore a timely move to make their customers more convenient.

Safaricom’s alliance with Naivas follows other partnerships with Quickmart, where the telco marketed 4G and 5G home internet gadgets into every one of Quickmart’s 61 outlets.
By deepening penetration of Safaricom 5G home internet, the company seeks to bridge the gap for individuals and small businesses who desire reliable internet for streaming, work from home, and online life, in general.
Customers may purchase Safaricom 5G home internet routers at KES 2,999 from Safaricom outlets, authorized dealers, Naivas outlets, Quickmart convenience stores, and online on Masoko.co.ke. Safaricom has also enhanced its Home Fibre Entry Package from 10Mbps to 15Mbps for free, elevating connectivity for new and existing customers.
This initiative also mirrors Safaricom’s greater mission of expanding Kenya’s digital economy. By bringing Safaricom 5G home broadband to numerous access points, the business continues to dominate the market in promoting innovation and positioning Kenya at the forefront as a regional digital transformation frontrunner.
