On Friday, September 26, 2025, Ole-Sereni and Emara Ole-Sereni hosted a special appreciation party for their top partners drawn from government offices, NGOs, and embassies.
The event, led by General Manager Amit Sharma alongside Head of Sales Milkah Kimani, Sales Account Manager Pauline Irungu, and Leisure Sales Manager Janet Chumo, was a way of thanking partners for their continued trust and support.
“This event is a celebration of our collaboration. Over the years, we have been hosting many of you, and today we want to strengthen the already existing trust and reinforce the bonds,” said Amit Sharma.

Nairobi’s Conference Hub
Nairobi receives over 300,000 business visitors annually and hosts in excess of 500 major conferences, summits, and workshops. Diplomats, NGOs, and foreign representatives make up the majority of tourists.
Conferences account for nearly 30% of Kenya’s tourism earnings, a testament to the importance of MICE tourism. The sector has been growing consistently at a pace of 6–8% annually due to improved infrastructure and amenities such as Ole-Sereni.
What Sets Ole-Sereni Apart
Speaking to the press at the event, Amit Sharma highlighted the unique offerings of the hotel. From stunning views of Nairobi National Park to international-standard amenities, he explained the hotel is in a position to host high-level events without any difficulty.
Emara Ole-Sereni has massive conference rooms, a 500-seat plus banquet room, and parking capacity for more than 400 vehicles. “The hotel is strategically placed close to JKIA and Wilson Airport, and with the expressway, one can get into town or Westlands in minutes,” added People – Africa partner Jacob Musee.
Sales Head Milkah Kimani added that the hotel has flexible packages. “There is room for all here. We have corporates, social events, long stays, and high-profile meetings. With outdoor catering, we even bring the Ole-Sereni experience to your doorstep,” she continued.

Leisure and Travel Trade Sales Manager Janeth Chumo added that the hotel has much more than it does conference rooms. Visitors can relax in the gym, swimming pool, spa, or salon.
Afternoon cocktails are available in the Oasis Bar, while safaris and transportation reservations are arranged by the travel desk.
What really sets Ole-Sereni apart is the scenery of Nairobi National Park. Watching wildlife and open plains is tranquil and inspiring as a working space or play,” said Kenya Airways’ Alistair Katoni.
From the conversations at the event, it was clear that Ole-Sereni Hotels’ team works hard to anticipate guests’ needs and create memorable experiences.
In a city where diplomacy and global partnerships thrive, Ole-Sereni has positioned itself as a trusted space where business meets comfort, set against the backdrop of Nairobi’s wild beauty.
