Gulf Air has officially resumed its direct Bahrain–Nairobi flights, marking its return to the Kenyan market after a 13-year hiatus.

The first flight is scheduled to land at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (JKIA) on Monday, June 2, opening a new chapter in air travel between Kenya and Bahrain.

The airline will operate five weekly flights using its modern Airbus A320neo fleet. Services will run on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Sundays, with two additional flights on Fridays, offering increased flexibility for both business and leisure travelers.

According to Gulf Air CEO Jeffrey Goh, the airline is committed to expanding its African footprint and strengthening economic and tourism ties between Bahrain and Kenya.
