KRA Announces Attachment Opportunities for Students Across Kenya

The Kenya Revenue Authority (KRA) has announced opportunities for industrial attachment for students. This will be done between May and July 2026.

In a notice made public on Saturday, February 21, 2026, the KRA stated that the attachment is for students who wish to gain work experience in an area of interest while pursuing their course in college or university.

The attachment is available for Kenyans below 35 years old who are still pursuing their studies. This means students pursuing degrees in various courses such as third-, fourth-, or final-year students are eligible. Diploma students pursuing final-year courses are also eligible.

The attachment will provide students with an understanding of the practical side of what they are studying in class before they graduate and venture into the job market.

The students are expected to have an introduction letter from the learning institution. They are also expected to be ready to work full time for the entire period of the attachment.

The attachment is available in many departments such as finance, accounting, ICT, HR, supply chain management, marketing and communication, engineering, business, law, statistics, education, etc. This means students pursuing various courses are eligible.

The students selected will be entitled to a stipend of 7,000 shillings on a monthly basis after the required deductions are made. In the notice, the KRA also warned students to be careful while applying. They also stated that the students will not be required to pay any money during the recruitment process.

How to Apply

The students are expected to apply through the online platform using the KRA e-recruitment portal. They are expected to apply online by creating an account on the portal. They are also expected to apply early before the deadline on 6th March 2026.
