Mwananchi Credit Ltd (MCL) has appointed Wycliffe Oyier as the new Executive Director in charge of Strategy and Commercial Development, effective from February 9, 2026.
Oyier comes to the position at Mwananchi Credit after serving as the Chief Executive Officer at Ngao Credit for the last three years. The appointment of Oyier to the position at Mwananchi Credit is a new chapter in the growth of the company, especially in the expansion of the range of products it offers to the market.
The new role at Mwananchi Credit will see Oyier lead the strategy of the company, expand the business, improve the channels of sales and distribution, and develop new credit products to expand the market reach of the company.
The CEO of Mwananchi Credit, Dennis Mombo, has welcomed the appointment of Oyier to the position of the Executive Director of Strategy and Commercial Development at the firm.
