Nairobi is set to host the Regional Health Promotion Conference (RHPC) 2025 this March, an event organized by the Ministry of Health in collaboration with VSO International, Africa CDC, and other key regional partners.
With the theme βSustainable Health Promotion through Universal Health Coverage and Intersectionality in Healthcare,β the conference aims to explore innovative solutions to health promotion challenges.
Stakeholders from various sectors will gather to examine how health intersects with education, technology, climate change, and the private sector in advancing community wellness across the region.
Principal Secretary for Public Health and Professional Standards, Mary Muthoni, recently met with VSO technical representatives, led by Papa Diouf, the Global Practice Area Lead for Health, to discuss progress and preparations for the conference.
The RHPC 2025 is expected to draw over 500 delegates and strategic partners from Kenya, Uganda, Rwanda, Ethiopia, and other countries, creating a platform for regional collaboration and knowledge exchange in health promotion.
